Join us on Sundays!

On Sunday mornings, we gather to worship God, grow closer to him and to enjoy our friendships together. We have two services with different styles – why not come along to each and see where you feel at home?

Traditional Eucharist – 9.30am

At the 9.30am service, we worship with accomplished music from organ and choir, accompanied by incense. Ministers, choir and servers, all in robes, lead us through the liturgy. We sing hymns, hear the Bible read, and have a short sermon that relates the Bible to our lives. We pray hope-filled prayers amidst the joys and sorrows of life. Then we share the Eucharist: the bread and wine that Jesus told us to share in remembrance of him.

All are welcome to come and experience the beauty and inspiration of this service, which makes use of both Common Worship and Book of Common Prayer.

Sunday Celebration – 11am

Sunday Celebration is a new and relaxed time to worship at St Petroc’s.

You’ll find a friendly welcome, a contemporary vibe, and the freedom to join in as much or as little as you want to. Every week we have a different theme: come for the familiar festivals or find something brand new!

We usually sing a few modern songs, and explore our theme for the morning in a creative way. We might watch a film clip on the big screen, or hear an interview, and reflect for ourselves on the theme.

So join us on your own, or bring the whole family. Try us if you’ve never been to church before, or if you’re just looking for something different – we look forward to seeing you at a Sunday Celebration soon.
