Fun Bags and Caterpillar Walk

To give families a lift this summer we have free family bags of fun to give away! Our first event in Bodmin, took place yesterday, in glorious summer sunshine.

It will be repeated every Wednesday afternoon at 1.30pm from outside St Petroc’s Church Bodmin, until the end of September, weather permitting. Funders have made this possible and we are grateful to them.

Families are free to take a bag and go or stay for the 2pm Caterpillar Walk if they wish.

The Caterpillar Walk focuses on under 5s and is accessible for prams, pushchairs and wheelchairs.

The Community Champion at Morrisons Bodmin heard about our events and has added another dimension to the Fun Bags and Caterpillar Walk by coming up with the idea of providing little paper bags of seeds to feed the ducks, supplied and package by the Champion. It proved to be an inspired idea and it was wonderful to watch the ducks being feed during the Caterpillar Walk.

Despite the heat we manged some active ‘body movements’, pretending we were stars, frogs and kangaroos, as we completed our jumps on the grass in front of Narisa Hall.

Do join in the fun, if you can, on Wednesday afternoons, in August and September.
