A cleverly crafted composition created by Benjamin Britten - "Saint Nicolas Cantata" was performed by the choir, pianists (Paul Cameau & Jonathan Delbridge), organist (Robert Christie), percussion (Mark Hambly), solo tenor (Nick Hawker), with children singers (Jack, Hollie & Tabatha) and conductor (Chris Howarth). The nine movements incorporated congregation hymns as it retold the legend of Saint Nicolas.

Part 2 began with two harp solos (Katie McClaughry) and "A Ceremony of Carols" finishing with a congregation hymn "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing".
It was fabulous to be a part of the concert, amidst the trees of the Christmas Tree Festival.
