Aaron gave an open invitation to his baptism.

Aaron’s words below express his personal experience and show how the community of Bodmin has been a part of his journey of faith, a path that has led to his baptism in the sea.

The Awakening

Our society demands we all just line up, step in time, and live like programmable code – conditioned by a cold machine of an education that slowly bleeds the life out of a nation.

With AI out there, dotting every “i” and crossing every “t”, the weight of it all drops me straight to my knees. And I pray – man I pray, for a brighter dawn, a better day, a sacred space where the human spirit can just come out and play.

Daymer Bay, now that is a beautiful, holy place. I used to run wild along those shores as a boy, heart untamed, mind overflowing with innocent joy. I used to run absolutely free, chasing the wind, and in those moments, I was beautifully, wonderfully just me. Happy to just exist. Happy to be.

That same Daymer Bay of my childhood, so wild and free, has transformed today into the very ground where I stand face-to-face with Thee.

The waters that once cradled a child’s reckless play now wash over my soul, cleansing the past, anchoring me deeply into a brand-new way.

I know who I am. I am a child of God, and that fierce, unshakeable faith is something I will carry proudly inside me until the day I die. And from the very bottom of my heart, I just want to thank God.

I’m so deeply grateful to my entire community for standing by me on this road – for witnessing this spiritual awakening, this profound realisation that it is okay. I belong here. I am not a mistake; I am not wrong. The sheer strength I draw from the ocean of your love is nothing short of heavenly. My church isn’t trapped within four stone walls; my church is my community – a living, breathing sanctuary built entirely on a foundation of love and unity.

I’ve got my favourite pastor and reverend standing right here beside me, ready to lift me up from the depths, raising me from the water clean and brand new, just like they do for every single soul in this beautiful family.

Look at the unity in Bodmin, our home! This is our sanctuary, a place to truly feel grace, a place to rediscover hope.

I love how many beautiful organisations, clubs, and local businesses pour their hearts into our town, helping me find my path and giving my wildest thoughts and brightest ideas - a real chance to thrive. It keeps a smile on my face; it makes me feel truly, deeply alive. I am an active part of a massive, beautiful family. It is an awesome thing to believe in Bodmin, because I know deep down that Bodmin believes in me. And for that, I am endlessly grateful.

Thank you all for showing up, for sharing your light. Now, let’s lift our voices and celebrate the beautiful community spirit alive on this beach today!

Hip hip hooray, thank you all for sharing this wonderful day!
