After Celebrating Eucharist We Celebrated A Special Birthday!

It's John's birthday this week. He's to be 90 years young. We sang him "Happy Birthday" and ate chocolate cake and creamy cupcakes, after the 9.30 service this morning.

John has a deep love for literature and was heard talking about TS Eliot and his 'Waste Land', Ezra Pound and Shakespeare, as he enjoyed his birthday coffee & cake!

Thanks to Bryony for providing and being creative with the cakes and to the refreshment team for serving the tea and coffee.

We also sang Kimberley's name in our rendition of "Happy Birthday" as it was her birthday yesterday.
