The Bible Society has produced a free tool on their website. It’s brilliant. It gives succinct and useful information about each book in the Bible, 66 in total.

The Searchers will be selecting their first book from the Bible to read at home, looking up information on the Bible Society’s website and sharing ideas at our Monday night meeting on Zoom.

Here's the weblink to the Bible Book Club:

The information about each book is under the video.

Before we start our very own Bible Book Club, we are going to whiz through some of the 66 books, sharing our knowledge of what is inside each book and hearing one verse, from the whole book, that acts as a summary. The verses have been selected by Mike Nappa.

Here’s the verses from the book we looked at last night:

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:27 KJV

“I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery. You must not have any other god but me.” Exodus 20:2-3 NLT

"Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbour as yourself.” Leviticus 19:8 NIV

“God is not a man, that he might lie, or a son of man, that he might change his mind. Does he speak and not act, or promise and not fulfil?” Numbers 23:19 CSB

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” Deuteronomy 6:5 CSB

Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 ESV

Amazingly, William and Claire had similar choices to the verse’s Mike selected. Helen added a verse from Numbers 6:22-27 and Lindy chose Joshua 24:24.

I love the idea behind this book club. Your post really shows how shared reading can deepen understanding and connection. I saw a community learning feature on https://citylineairconditioning.com/ and it echoed this same spirit.

This was a lovely https://www.pantherplumbing.com/ overview of the Bible book club and its purpose. The sense of community and shared learning really comes through in your writing. It reminded me of a community-focused piece I read on a pantherplumbing review blog (pantherplumbing) that emphasized connection in a similar way.

Color grading in diamonds ranges from colorless to noticeable yellow or brown tones. Colorless diamonds are generally more valuable because they allow maximum light reflection, resulting in greater brilliance. However, slightly tinted diamonds can still https://lovelri.com/ appear bright and attractive, especially when set in yellow or rose gold. Many buyers choose near-colorless diamonds as a balanced option between beauty and budget.

Really enjoyed learning about the https://www.coversinplay.com Searchers Bible Book Club. The sense of community came through clearly. I saw a coversinplay article about faith-based discussion groups, and this was a lovely example.

This was a thoughtful https://givingtreefamilylaw.ca/ and inviting post. I appreciated how the discussion encouraged reflection and community participation. It reminded me of a similar community-driven piece I read on a givingtreefamilylaw review blog.
