School boy volunteers

Participating in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award benefits young people greatly and in the process other people and organisations also benefit. Connor, for the volunteering section of the Award, has completed three months of cleaning work at St Petroc’s Parish Centre alongside the support of wonder mum Amy. With more events and groups hiring the space than ever before, including the new Community Larder on a Friday, more cleaning has been required and Connor and Amy have played no small part towards this each week. At the start of the last evening of volunteering, Connor and Amy were presented with a gift, as a token of thanks and to acknowledge the valuable work they have undertaken over the last few months.
